Headquarter branch of the world famous Keika ramen. In Kumamoto area, there are several branch exist and most of all of them are equally good except the branch at Shinkansen station.

The tonkatsu is really salty and the broth has a very strong garlic smell. Came at 2pm on a weekday and did not have to queue at all. Noodles were springy and good. Wouldn't come back again.

Too salty, disappointed, over rated.

Original taste for little money.

The place is old school. And the food is fair. It is near the Kumamoto castle.

Local food, cheap and great taste.Ramen are not too salty and it is without MSG.Set meal are more than enough for one person. You pay what for what it’s worth for in a real Japanese ramen shop.

Very nice service and the noodles are good. The broth is on the saltier side so it would be hard to finish the soup off. The noodles are on the thicker side and cooked al dente for some bite. The pork was very tender and flavorful but super fatty. It was a good bowl of ramen but not the best.

Keika is a ramen representing Kumamoto.Among the ramen in Kyushu, it has entered Tokyo as early as possible, so it is well known throughout the country.Keika is said to be the first shop to add garlic oil (Mayu), a characteristic of Kumamoto ramen. The soup is a hybrid of pork bone and chicken, and the noodle is medium thick noodle, which is clearly different from the pork bone ramen in Fukuoka.Taromen is a menu created to commemorate the Tokyo advance. Signboard menu with pork simmered and a large amount of cabbage on normal ramen. However, since it is +300 yen from normal, Taromen is good but the cost performance is bad.In addition, ushanromen, which is a deep-fried pork loin on ramen, is a popular ramen noodle that is popular among shop assistants and makes everyone full.

Delicious soup.

Keika food - both noodle and the 五香肉 are quite salty and without enough fragrant. I prefer ä¸€è˜ than Keika (though it can be just preference).

This Ramen Restaurant was one of the best one I have ever eaten before. It’s local, cheap and importantly really yummy. I would recommend this to anyone especially kids.

The food is good, especially fried rice. If you can’t eat that much, you can order a set which contains fried rice and ramen. The portion is quite big.

Broth was good bit too salty for me, noodles chewy. Wish the broth was a little bit thicker so it would stick more to the noodles.

The noodle of ramen a bit thicker than other ramen, medium clear soup not my taste. The eggs seems over cooked
